Aimee Carrero

Aimee Carrero, born in the Dominican Republic, is an American voice actor and actress. She is most well-known for her role as Angie Prietto in the Cartoon Network live-action television show Level Up. From 2014-2018, she starred as Sofia Rodriguez in the ABC Family/Freeform sitcom Young & Hungry and Young & Foodies. She performed the role of She Ra in DreamWorks' animated series She-Ra and the Princesses of Power on Netflix between 2018 and the year 2020. In November of 2015, Carrero got engaged to actor Tim Rock and the two got married in the summer of 2016. As for Disney her role, she played the role of Princess Elena on Sofia the First and its spin-off series Elena of Avalor. Additionally, in Zeke and Luther's "Skater Girl Island", she played Tasha as well as Mia. In ABC Family, she played Sylvia Torres in the show, Lincoln Heights and Sydney in the series, Baby Daddy.
