Maria Bartiromo and Jeanne Tripplehorn bio
Maria Bartiromo was the first American journalist to live broadcast at the New York Stock Exchange. There are a variety of highly acclaimed shows under her belt. An experienced broadcaster who has more than two decades' experience writing about business and economics, she was instrumental in aiding CNBC to become one of the leading channels in business and the economy. Maria's phenomenally successful journalistic professional career suggests she was meant to be in journalism. Yet as a young woman Maria was confused as to the best career choice. When she first started out, Maria wanted to be a singer. Then she switched to interior design. When she realized the excitement that journalism has to offer, there was no turning back. She's not just an outstanding journalist but an example for women looking to make it in a world that is dominated by males. She is also an author as well as a columnist.
