Antonina Shevchenko
Antonina (or Antonia) Shevchenko competes as Antonina Shevchenko is a Kyrgyzstani Muay Thai fighter in the UFC's flyweight division. She's older than her fellow UFC Fighter and Former UFC Flyweight Champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko is an experienced Muay Thai Kickboxer began her fight sports career at her first IFMA World Championship Tournament. Shevchenko took the title with a unanimous victory over Suzane Miller. Antonina Shevchenko was awarded an additional medal in the year 2007 with a bronze, a silver in 2008, a gold in 2011, and then was named in the position of IFMA Amateur World Muay Thai Champion in the year 2016. Antonia began her professional journey back in 2003. She has taken home numerous titles including the World WKC K-1 Light Welterweight Championships, the Lion Fight Lightweight Championships and WMC and Phoenix FC World Championships. Antonina was a part of Isa TIDBLAD Keskikangas's fight last time at the Phoenix Fighting Championship. The fight was won by an unanimous decision. Antonina Schevchenko set her professional MMA records in 2002 when she faced Anara Bazanova in the KFK Cup of Kyrgystan. She won this fight via TKO in round 2. Her subsequent 2 matches were held in WXF X-Impact World Championships. Shevchenko was absent from MMA to focus on her kickboxing, and she made her comeback in a fight against Anissa Haddaoui in Phoenix FC 3 in 2017. Shevchenko beat Anissa by a unanimous vote. She then went on to beat Valerie Domergue during Phoenix FC 4. The promotion ended in the year 2018 and joined Dana White's Contender Series in 2018. Shevchenko defeated Jaimelene Nievera at Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11. Antonina defeated Nievera by her striking skills that were superior at the end of the fight with knees placed on her body. In the aftermath of this fight, Antonina received a UFC deal. Antonina took part in her UFC debut during the TUF Heavy Hhitters Finale in a fight against Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko lost to Roxanne modafferi in a split decision after she won her first bout. Antonina was able to bounce back from the loss by defeating Lucie Pudilova on UFC on ESPN Covington against Lawler through rear-naked-choke submission. The result earned her the fight-of-the-night bonus. Shevchenko went 2-2 in her subsequent three bouts. She beat Ariane Lipski, but fell to Katlyn Chokagian as well as Andrea Lee. Antonina was recently defeated by Casey O'Neill via TKO at UFC Fight Night Santos -Walker.
